RECENT CO-DESIGN PROJECTS Arbutus Corridor, Vancouver: A series of 10 public design workshops to envision the future of the Canadian Pacific Railway lands. Current. ImagineCALGARY: Visioning workshop with the Round Table Meeting to visualize the future of Calgary 100 years hence. Current. Red Deer County and Red Deer City: Visioning workshop with both councils to envision the expansion of the City of Red Deer. June 2005. Red Deer County and Lacombe County: Visioning workshop with citizens, planners, developers and councilors, in collaboration with UMA Group for the planning of the West Sylvan Lake Area. May 2005 Red Deer City: Visioning workshops for the upgrading of four riverside parks in the Waskasoo Park system. March 2005. Kananaskis, Alberta, William Watson Lodge: Needs assessment for the Alberta Government Parks and Protected Public Spaces. Workshops program for the improvements to the interior and grounds of 22 cabins and lodge building. Current. LARGE URBAN PROJECTS Calgary, Memorial Drive: Public Visioning for the City of Calgary in collaboration with Stantec Consulting Ltd, in preparation for the planning of park improvements. 2004. Awarded National Honour by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, 2006. Calgary, Bow Valley Centre: Visioning workshops and Open Houses for the City of Calgary in preparation for a design competition for the planning of the residential neighbourhood to take the place of the former General Hospital. Received Award of Excellence from the Canadian Institute of Planners. November 2001. Vancouver Downtown Eastside and Woodward’s: A seven- workshop visualization program with local residents, homeless, and Vancouver citizens for the renovation of Woodward’s and the revitalization of the downtown area. 2003 4.
